Last week, my girlfriend and I were in the center of Apeldoorn looking for Christmas gifts. We ended up in a part of town we don't normally frequent. There, we walked past the interior design store WortelWoods Wonen. From the outside, we saw beautiful furniture and accessories, and to be honest, the name WortelWoods immediately drew us in.

Inside, we were surprised by the handmade furniture and the store's warm atmosphere. While we were checking out, we struck up a conversation with Joost, the owner of WortelWoods. He passionately talked about their furniture and the use of wood from the Crown Estates of Het Loo. That craftsmanship and attention to materials perfectly match my own approach to art.
I told Joost about my work, and the idea of hanging a painting in the store quickly arose. That's how this wonderful collaboration began. Low Sun 01 is now on display at WortelWoods Wonen in Apeldoorn for a limited time. A wonderful way to demonstrate how art in interiors can truly blend with handmade furniture and a warm, modern living experience.
Thank you, Joost!
